Welcome to one of the most exciting and fulfilling decisions of your life. This is the beginning of something amazing!

I already know you’re thinking of all the reasons why you can’t do this. I know, because I’ve wondered many of the same things. The questions that take up most of that space are:

How will I manage it all? What if it doesn’t work? What if I fail at both?

Before you begin, there are a few things you should know about This Fierce Life:

  1. Working as a stay-at-home/work-at-home parent where your job is service-oriented and dependent on your available time is one of the most difficult career choices you can make.
  2. There is no such thing as part-time. By choosing this path, you will be a 24/7 mom and a 24/7 entrepreneur.
  3. There are no days off.
  4. There is no such thing as work-life balance. It’s a dance. Be ready to dance.
  5. This career choice will test your patience, your grit and your determination.
  6. When you work for yourself, you are not in control of your schedule, but rather how you manage and show up in it.
  7. It will be inconsistent from day to day, project to project and diaper to diaper. Be flexible.
  8. Like a newborn baby, your business will keep you up at night so don’t get too attached to sleep, but take it when you can get it.
  9. Complaining is unproductive. You don’t want your kids to whine so you can’t either.
  10. Not everything is going to go perfectly. You have to be ok with imperfection.

Bottom line?

This choice will be the most rewarding and fulfilling move of your life.

And I’m going to show you how.

If the above listing made you nervous but kind of excited, then I think you’re ready. Let’s dive deeper into this challenging and rewarding life choice. You are a full-time parent and full-time entrepreneur, or you soon will be. We’ll work through the day-to-day practical advice I’ve gained from thirteen years of the dance that has given me the gift of enjoying motherhood and the reward of moving my creative skills and business forward. I wouldn’t change it for the world.
