Being an entrepreneur is a beautiful thing. Sharing and showing your kids what that means, even in the early days, is important. You want them to know that they too can have a career AND raise a family at home at the same time. They don’t need to follow your path, but they need to know it’s an option.
Here are a few things your kids can gain from you being an entrepreneur:
- Being a stay-at-home parent and a business owner are not mutually exclusive.
- Independence.
- Confidence.
- They can do and be anything.
- Happiness is a choice.
- Responsibility.
- Hard work.
- Life is fun, human and, did we mention, fun?
There is no limit to what you can do and to what your child can do. Build conversations about how your work interacts with theirs.
